Todd comes to Heritage with a passion for Classical education and a love for Christ-centered learning. After teaching science for 13-years and serving as an administrator in a Classical Christian school for seven years, Todd had no doubt that his calling was to help fulfill the vision of Heritage Christian School. He loves working with teachers, parents and students to further understand the gift of Classical education and to provide the tools for learning. Todd has sat under the “mentorship” of classical authorities such as James Sire, Douglas Wilson, Charles Evans, Susan Wise-Bauer and Andrew Kern, not to mention the philosophical company of such greats as CS Lewis, Mortimer Adler, and Neil Postman.

Todd is married to Diana and together they parent three sons who are all students at Heritage. In his spare time, Todd enjoys fly-fishing, hunting, being outdoors, reading philosophy and being with his family. On a given “free day” you may find Todd quietly enjoying God’s beauty as he takes his Kayak out for a trip down a quiet tributary.

After serving in a classical Christ-centered school, Todd believes that growing a student to know beauty, goodness and truth is the highest calling an educator can have. Todd is honored to grow the vision that God has called Heritage Christian School to embrace.
