Mr. Hickman is the Athletic Director and Head Boys Basketball Coach at Heritage.  He has been a basketball coach at Heritage for ten seasons and has been with HCS for 6 years.  He is a self labeled “hoop-head” because he absolutely loves the game of basketball, in addition to baseball, football and soccer.  Mr. Hickman played college basketball for four years, at three different schools, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Youth Ministry.
Mr. Hickman is blessed with a beautiful and supportive wife named Jamie, and four children named Hannah, Daniel, Kelsey, and Madison.  Their family time is spent hanging out together at home, and at the park. 
In his spare time, Mr. Hickman enjoys reading books – some favorites of which include authors R.C. Sproul, J.I. Packer, Jonathan Edwards, John Calvin, Douglas Wilson, Charles Hodge and John Gerstner.
