Janet (JB) Hickman is the Executive Assistant to the Headmaster. She has worked in three ACSI schools over the past 17 years. Prior to that, she worked for an Administrative Group in downtown Portland, and as an Administrative Assistant in the Music Department for her 10,000+ member church in Southern California.
Mrs. Hickman grew up in Southern California in a nurturing Christian family. She has been married to her husband, Ken, for 30 years! Ken was a Music Pastor for 30 years, so JB loves to see Creative Arts being utilized in worship! She has two sons-Michael, age 25, and Mark, age 20. Other hobbies (besides music) include reading, playing practical jokes, and time spent talking and laughing with friends. Two of Mrs. Hickman’s favorite memories are spending a summer in Brazil and a summer in England on tour with a Christian singing group.
Mrs. Hickman is confident that God purposefully placed her at HCS, and desires to use the Administrative gifting He has given her to bring glory to God, alone. Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11.
