Dana Bennett Before and After School & Food Programs Coordinator
When you ask Dana Bennet how she landed at Heritage, she answers, “Once I understood how a Classical education worked, I knew it was the best decision for our sons.” As the coordinator for the Before and After School and Food Programs, Dana regularly taps into her gifts. Her past experience running successful school lunch programs is evident—best of all she loves working with parents and forming new relationships. Dana holds an Associate Degree in Science from Portland Community College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, and a minor in Women’s History. In 2000-2001, Dana taught Right Choices and Medieval History at Heritage. She is a proud 1989-1993 veteran of the United States Navy and retains a Food Handler’s License. When Dana isn’t making a difference at Heritage, she’s busy spending time with Larry, her husband of 16 years and raising five wonderful boys.
