Mr. Amondson is an instructor in the Rhetoric School Humanities department. Mr. Amondson has a B.A. in Religion and Christian Ministries from Warner Pacific College and is in the process of completing his M.A. in Christianity and Culture from Regent College. He is also a member of the American Academy of Religion and the Ekklesia Project.
Mr. Amondson lives with his wife of six years, Sera, in Southeast Portland. He feels blessed to have found his heart's desire at Heritage and says, "God has called me to Heritage Christian School to facilitate young people in their discovery of our odd and awesome God. Whether it is through the teaching of literature, history, theology, rhetoric, or even yearbook it is my task to help students understand that God is calling each of them into an adventurous abandonment to His Kingdom. That I get paid to do this is, without a doubt, a wondrous gift from God."
