Physical Education
Mrs. Aldrich is serves as our Grammar PE and Health Teacher and comes to us with a BS in Psychology with a Minor in Recreation from the University of Nebraska at Kearney where she graduated with honors. She has been happily married for over 22 years to Scott Aldrich who was an original Board member at HCS. The Aldrich’s are blessed with two wonderful gifts from God, Christy, 20 and Brian, 19, both former students at Heritage.
Mrs. Aldrich’s work experience has varied from being a Coordinator of Public Relations and Social Services at a Regional Medical Center in Nebraska to coaching and assistant coaching several sports and directing the After-school Sports Program at Farmington View Elementary School. She also enjoys being active in her community and has served on the Hillsboro Chamber Leadership Board for 3 years and directed the Leadership Class “Let’s Make A Difference” Community Service Project for 10 years.
When she is not teaching, Mrs. Aldrich enjoys spending time with my family, running, reading and working outside. She loves working with kids, which comes natural since she is one of a family of 10!
We are blessed to have her Health and Physical Education expertise at HCS since Mrs. Aldrich was awarded scholarships in three sports in college; track, volleyball and basketball.
When asked why she came to teach at HCS, Mrs. Aldrich replied, “I am honored and blessed to teach at Heritage Christian School because I have seen over the years since its inception, the desire, perseverance, hard work, prayers, and commitment to offer the highest quality Christian education. I’m thankful for the godly leadership here and I’m also thankful that God brought me here to be part of this wonderful staff.” We are delighted to have Mrs. Aldrich on our team. |
